gedit-valencia-plugin software package provides Vala plugin for gedit, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gedit-valencia-plugin
gedit-valencia-plugin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gedit-valencia-plugin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gedit-valencia-plugin *
You will get with gedit-valencia-plugin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
